Born and mostly raised in Montana, I now call Columbia Falls, Montana home. I share my home with two amazing kids, who not only are the loves of my life but my inspiration. My son is 9, and his autism has given us a whole world of color. He has taught me that every day has unique rhythm, it is just deciding what dance we need to dance! My daughter is 6, and her giggle could fuel the world. She loves to be a part of the quilting process especially when it comes to color and arranging blocks. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be running a machine in no time! I began quilting in 1999 after I went to work for a local quilt shop. I started as a bookkeeper, but could not resist the temptation of fabric. This was a great beginning to my story. Everyday I discovered something else that I loved about quilting. Eventually, I began teaching classes, long-arm machine quilting, and designing quilting stencils for Quilting Creations International. I started designing patterns, making samples for quilt shops and testing other designer's patterns.
