This is a really fun pattern to make that only looks difficult. Normally, a quilt like this would be pieced by using templates for each part of the block and assembling them using curved piecing. You can simplify this by using a special ruler (or included template) and raw edge applique!

Special ruler: Easy Circle Ruler by EZ Quilting & an 18mm rotary cutter. A template is included if you don't want to use the ruler. If you have the ruler but not the rotary cutter, you can mark the cutting line and cut it with scissors/rotary cutter after removing the ruler.

Fabric Requirements
Baby: 36" square

• Fat Quarters = 8
• Background Fabric = 1-1/4 yards
• Binding Fabric = 1/3 yard
• Backing Fabric = 1-1/6 yards

Youth: 48" x 60"

• Fat Quarters = 16
• Background Fabric = 2-3/4 yards
• Binding Fabric = 1/2 yard
• Backing Fabric = 3-3/4 yards

Lap: 60" square

• Fat Quarters = 20
• Background Fabric = 3-1/4 yards
• Binding Fabric = 1/2 yard
• Backing Fabric = 3-3/4 yards

Giant Lap: 72" square

• Fat Quarters = 29
• Background Fabric = 4-1/2 yards
• Binding Fabric = 5/8 yard
• Backing Fabric = 4-3/8 yards

Twin: 60" x 84"

• Fat Quarters = 28
• Background Fabric = 4-1/2 yards
• Binding Fabric = 5/8 yard
• Backing Fabric = 5 yards

Queen: 84" square

• Fat Quarters = 40
• Background Fabric = 6 yards
• Binding Fabric = 5/8 yard

King: 108" x 84"
