Maryland by Kathy Schmitz for Moda Fabrics is inspired by her love of Balitmore Album applique quilts and woodblock prints. As a nod to these two traditional art forms, Maryland is a collection of contrast. Using neutral colors, fine lines, and simple shapes, Kathy's patterns really pop and have what she describes as a "carved woodblock look."
