Make your "One-of-a-Kind-Kid" a one-of-a-kind jacket.
This is a great project for charm squares! Choose fabrics in your child's favorite colors, critters or sports; pick an oversized sweatshirt in a companion color and you'll be ready to go. Work around a small panel square, if you like, and unify the project by choosing a single fabric for the sleeves and hood. Keep the layout simple to avoid overwhelming that little body.
You'll dis-assemble the sweatshirt (without removing the zipper), sew up your patchwork and quilt right to the sweatshirt parts. Sew the shirt back together, do a bit of topstitching and it's done.
Keep several sweatshirts on hand, collect some charm packs to match and be ready to make up a great One of A Kind gift!

Fabric Requirements

• 1 charm pack for patchwork
• 1/2 yard coordinating fabric for sleeves & hood

**For sizes 12 months to 6X, You may need more for larger sizes.
**Want to skip the patchwork? You'll need 1/2 yard of any fun print for the sweatshirt body.
