Fabric Requirements
Scrap version
  • 84 pre-cut 5 inch squares (or 1 3/4 yard scraps at least 5 inches square)
  • 1 yard fabric for the stars
  • 1-3/4 yard fabric for the border
  • 3/4 yards for the binding.
Modern version
  • 42 pre-cut 5 inch squares (or 3/4 yard scraps at least 5 inches square)
  • 1-3/4 yard gray fabric for the background (or 84 pre-cut gray squares)
  • 1-3/4 yards for the border
  • 3/4 yards for the binding.
