I was immediately drawn to the fresh blocks in The Quilt Block Cookbook, and author Amy Gibson did not disappoint as I perused the many beautiful “recipes” in this book! Her instructions and photos are easy to follow, and the traditional or modern quilter will love her original designs and delightfully satisfying blocks. The modern finished quilts are simply stunning, but I might take some of her block designs and make pillows or mini quilts for my walls, the lively combinations will brighten up any corner of one’s home. I truly enjoyed the recipe format and look forward to many delightful hours of quilting!
