Check out the easy piecing in this "planned scrappy" quilt with its play of light, medium, and dark values. The quilt is bold and graphic, with blocks that appear to undulate across the quilt top. Cut only strips and rectangles to make the big blocks that pack a punch when arranged in alternating Light/Dark fashion. Use it as a lap quilt or hang it for a large, strong focal point in a room's decor.

• 1-1/4 yd Light Tonal Print #1 for the Light blocks, A, B, and C
• 1-5/8 yd Med. Gray Tonal Print #1 for Light Block C, plus the Border and Binding
• 3/8 yd Medium-Gray #3 Tonal Print for Block B
• 3/8 yd Light-Gray Tonal Print #1 for Block D
• 1-1/4 yd Dark Tonal Print #1 for the Dark Blocks, D, E, and F
