Every year I tell myself that I need to make a Christmas quilt, and year after year, I don’t quite get around to it by Christmas! Here it is mid-year once again, I have lots of holiday fabrics in my stash, and no Christmas quilt started!
Winter Wonderland by Sherri Falls just might make it happen this year! The quilt on the front cover, “Sleigh Bell Sampler Quilt” really appeals to me. Since it’s made up of 12 different blocks, it seems a little more manageable – I can do one at a time & have all 12 complete as time allows. The finished size is not quite large enough, so I’m thinking I can add additional borders or make some of the blocks more than once to make it work!
The book has 11 other projects too, so who knows, I may get on a roll and have more Christmas projects finished this year!
