As a quilter and designer, I get excited when I find a good book of quilt block designs. This one is terrific! There is something for every quilter in this book with its 200 original blocks divided into four broad categories: appliqué, pieced, foundation-pieced and mixed media. I had several "I wish I would have thought of that!" or "How clever!" moments as I perused the book. Some blocks are interesting variations of familiar favorites; others are unique. Most are beginning to intermediate in skill level. I would highly recommend this book as an addition to one's quilt library due to the wide variety and originality of the blocks, the lovely illustrations, choices of sample layouts, and general instructions. I found several inspiring blocks including one I want to make this weekend!
