Anita Jeram developed a passion for drawing and an affinity for animals at an early age, growing up in Portsmouth, England. After completing art school, she formed a relationship with Walker Press/Candlewick Publishing, illustrating numerous books and series, with her most well-known depiction of the Big and Little Nut Brown Hares from the classic children’s book Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney. Nowadays, Anita lives by the sea in Northern Ireland with her husband, three children and many pets that she draws inspiration from.
