This and That in Redwork Pattern
Redwork was first popular from the 1880s through the 1920s. It is now enjoying a resurgence in the quilting community today. Redwork uses only one embroidery stitch, the outline stitch, which is diagramed in this pattern. This sweet little quilt combines soft animal shapes with basic quilt block designs. Great for beginners or someone who wants a simple approach to this simple form of quiltwork. Either way, this project will be fast to work up and pleasing to the eye of the beholder.
