The perfect travel companion, this functional bag includes a comfortable padded adjustable carrying strap and quick-grab side handles, as well as a handy strap across the back to help secure the bag to rolling luggage. With a zippered and slip pockets on the front, back, and ends as well as a full zippered pocket and three more slip pockets inside, the bag will keep everything organized and close at hand. I have made this bag and I absolutely love it.
Just don’t be fooled by the word “kit”.
You will need many more supplies that are not included in the kit.
I also viewed the video class, and when all was said and done, this bag cost me approximately $130.00 to make. The second bag would be slightly less $ because I would not have to purchase the class again.
I agree with the other reviewers that Annie’s patterns are great, and that she is a good teacher.

I have made 4 of these. They have great instructions. Instead of the video, I took a class at my quilt shop. The instructions are great and people love them as gifts. I am starting one more today and then will stop for awhile. Fun to do.

I made this bag and can highly recommend it as a well designed, sturdy, and utilitarian bag. The pattern is very detailed, but purchasing the online tutorial is the most helpful add-on to this project. The kit on Connecting Threads (pattern and fabric) equal about 1/3 of price of this bag. The rest of the cost is the on-line tutorial, zippers, hardware, mesh for pockets, and Soft & Stable from ByAnnie's. Although I really liked creating this bag, I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's expensive if you want to make it exactly as the pattern specifies.

I've made 4 of these Ultimate Traveling Bags and am working on my 5th. Finally one for me!! LOL. I did get the video to go along with it. I think Annie Unrein has the best style of teaching I've seen out there. I love her patterns.
