It is a clear and concise overview that integrates technique and troubleshooting on each page so you learn what to do and what to watch out for right from the beginning. As someone who has done various textile crafts but never tried stitchery or worked much with wool, I think this book has an excellent survey of exactly what tools and supplies to use and how to use them. Detailed photographs demonstrate each step of the process, from specifics of fusible web to the exact way to finish project edges. With a dozen stitch techniques and a range of projects to get you started, this book is great for both beginners and those looking to hone their stitching skills.
